Both Mixt Greens locations were built following the USGBC's guidelines for green building.

All of our take-away packaging (containers, cups, straws, lids and bags) is made from corn, not petroleum, and composts in 45 days and we compost or recycle over 80% of our daily waste.

We use organic, local and seasonal ingredients as-well-as
free range, hormone and antibiotic free steak and fowl.

FSC certified wood, formaldehyde free plywood, zero-VOC paints,
renewable and recycled materials and energy efficient appliances are used in our build outs.

Our spaces were designed by LEED certified architect William Duff of WD Arch, a local architect that has an extensive green design background.

Mixt Greens is a Certified Bay Area Green Business, one of only five restaurants with this designation.
